All of Wesp5 patches include the original patch 1.2 and supersede all previous ones. Unfortunately they might require a fresh game installation, but they do not require older patches.

Do you need to download each patch cumulatively? If so do I need to find 1.2-8.0 and above?

Quest says it's supposed to be in Metalhead Industries, but I've gone back and forth between every nook and cranny and it's nowhere to be seen.
Tried loading an earlier save but it's still missing.

Would it be possible to post the full read-me file to this page for download? I'd prefer to look at the full change-log for this version prior to installing. To extract sounds from the game, use vpktool (included in this patch / SDK) to extract them from the game's .vpk files to use them as ring tones or whichever purpose suits your fancy.

German version is done by a single guy in his sparetime. And lately he didn't have much. So the answer is : maybe.

Unfortunately the guys behind the polish version ( <a href="http://ironsquad.pl" title="http://ironsquad.pl">http://ironsquad.pl</a> ) seem to have lost interest in the game. We haven't heard any news of them for ages.

A question, I browsed through the game files looking for the random background howl file, but couldn't find it. Any idea? This is so becoming my ringtone.

The patch occasionally installs incorrectly. This is the issue with 99% of the problems I'm reading below me. For me I knew it right away because I did not have access to character histories. I just did a full playthrough however where I reinstalled it and everything ran perfectly, no graphical glitches or anything regarding the dock or problems with Venus.

So, your best bet is to backup your saves and reinstall.

The intallation keeps stopping and "not answer"

In the quest skelter, where you have to "work it out" in the patty, upon completion of the quest she is locked in the "roulette". So you can not move and is unable to leave, unless using noclip.

I'm also having multiple issues, The map is broken for the beach prior to boarding the dane. Trigger's are visible and objects are invisible. Also for the quest "And her name was venus" Boris is not there at all. No matter how I navigate the 6th floor of the Empire Hotel. Please give me any advice on how to fix I've been working on this for about 6 hours now.

It's a cutscene not triggering in Grout's Mansion causing a deadend.

Just upload the patch its wicked. its just glitching out for me. all the walls are skinning funny in sanda moncica and i can't get on the boat and the fire on the beach comes up with a orange box saying trigger.

With just patch 1.2 you'll miss a LOT of content in the game. Even though Weps5's patches are probably never 100% bugfree as he has no access to the sourcecode and tries to work around bugs in the game and the game engine, they are well worth it - and in most cases mandatory if you want to play any of the existing mods.

As far as I know, all in-game text was translated into russian and videos get russian subtitles.. Other than that english and russian patches are identical.

so i dl'd this game again and looking here only to find bug in the top most comment, i think i go stick up the 1.2 version, what are the fixes in this section though?

Elevator in Asylum won't open on 2nd floor. Also fireplace on the beach was just a yellow square and I could't go back the parking loading screen was missing.

"load game" section shows saved games twice.

regarding the "15mb problem": It seems you either installed the patch improperly or started the game via Steam instead of via the games shortcut. Please check the patch readme - more details can be found there , pretty much in the first chapter . Otherwise the forums over at planet-vampire.com are always a great help for beginners.

Game crashes immediately after the Nvidia/Troica logos finish at start up. I've followed all the suggestion in the readme.

I'm running the game through Steam on Windows 7 Ultimate.

when I downloaded this game off of steam and tried to load it up it kept popping up with the message of "Available memory less than 15mb" and I downloaded this patch several times but all it says "failure to launch could not find the specified module dll" I have windows 8.1 and im out of ideas any thoughts please?

What do i need to use the exe file? i have downloaded this but cant open it
